Brain Screening

We recommend brain screening to those concerned about brain diseases and those with stroke risk factors such as high blood pressure, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, and smoking. The purpose of brain screening is a “brain health checkup”. The screening enables early detection of cerebrovascular disease that causes subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracerebral hemorrhage, and cerebral infarction.

Required time 2 – 3 hours
Screening items 1. Pre‐examination (fill in the questionnaire in advance)
2. Blood test
3. Urine test
4. MRI and MRA
5. Electrocardiography
6. Carotid artery echocardiography
7. Arteriosclerosis test
Meal Please have a light meal 3 to 4 hours before the start of the examination.
You can drink water or tea.
Notes

People with a cardiac pacemaker, artificial heart valves, artificial eyes, color contacts, intracerebral metals, intraventricular shunts, dental implant, prosthesis, cochlear implant/artificial middle ear, and people with tattoos cannot undergo MRI examinations. Please consult us if you are pregnant or may be pregnant.
